Eleuthera, which
is 110 miles long and between 1/2 to 2 miles wide, is one of the Out
Islands of the Bahamas. Eleuthera is known for its pink sand
beaches and turquoise water. The name Eleuthera means
"freedom" in Greek and it still has that feeling today. The
people of Eleuthera are the friendliest you will ever meet.
